Recommended Lug Nut Tighting Patterns

Lug nuts must be tightened in a star or crisscross pattern to insure uniform pressure and alignment. Apply torque evenly by repeating star or crisscross pattern until desired torque is reached. Shown below is the numerical sequence. WARNING! Never use fewer lug nuts than the wheel and vehicle was designed for.
