Wheel Nuts and Thread Guide
Raceways can supply a large range of replacement wheel nuts for most applications. The 60 Degree taper Acorn style wheel nuts are most suitable for Steel wheels. Bulge style nuts can be also used on Steel wheels, but are most suited to Alloy wheels that require a 60 Degree taper seating, the bulge style spreads the load over a wider area avoiding cutting into taper,please note we also offer a choice of Radius seating nuts for certain applications. The ET type of bulge nut is aimed at the USA alloy wheel market mainly, which have a slightly larger bore to accomodate the sleeve and helps locate nut is hole, and pick up the maximum thread.
The USA duplex nuts are for the USA truck market where a heavy duty nut is required, and come in various lengths depending on stud size.
Our Tuner, Spline, or slimline nuts are for modern multi fit wheels with small appertures that a normal socket will not fit down, note you will require the tool to fit these nuts.
For older alluminium wheels that take a sleeve nut, sometimes referred to as tube nuts, we have a range of bores and lengths, please look at spec and see what is the best for your wheels, if not sure we are pleased to help with these applications, just get in touch. Remember most sleeve nuts require a washer between the nut and the wheel, and we supply these complete with new nut orders, but are available seperate if required.
We can supply nuts in most threads used both in the Car and 4x4 market, these include 12mm 1.5 , 12mm 1.25, 1/2" UNF, 7/16ths UNF,14mm 1.5, 3/8ths UNF, 12mm 1.75, 14mm x 2.0 and 9/16ths UNF.

In most cases nuts are held in stock so we can get your order out as soon as possible, in most cases same day as we receive your order.

Following recent trade tarrif imposed in the USA our American suppliers have had to increase there prices, we have in turn had to pass some of this on, we have endeavoured to keep these to a minimum, but have had to put up most prices on our import lines from th USA. We are keeping our stock up to date and are holding good availbility at the moment. Updated April 2026.
