The Cragar S/S is now offered in both the traditional universal lug (“uni-lug”) bolt setup, and a new direct-drilled mounting system, with conically seated lug nuts. The Cragar S/S is an icon of the hot rod and muscle car world and has been offered for years with the uni-lug mounting system. Historically most of the famous old school mag-style aftermarket wheels featured universal lug bolt patterns with oval lug slots which allowed wheels to accommodate multiple bolt patterns. Uni-lug wheels require special concentric washers and mag shank-style lug nuts, and are still favored by many muscle car purists. While the performance marketplace acknowledges the original authenticity of uni-lug wheels, Cragar recognized that many modern car owners and builders prefer a modern direct drill mounting system. The direct drill Cragar S/S series is now available in 15” and 17” diameters, in various widths and finishes. New for 2020 the Cragar S/S is re released in the slim 15 x 4.50 size in either 5x4.50 or 5x4.75 bolt patterns.
